Katherine “Kit” Cosgrove

is a Mainer who received her Master’s in Fine Arts from the University of Southern Maine Stonecoast Program. She also holds a whitewater guide license, which has allowed her to put strangers in a raft and guide them through rapids as a part-time job. When she isn’t on the river, Kit works as a Copywriter.

Kit uses her creative writing to highlight women who have authority and agency in outdoor spaces, and to explore the topic of gender dynamics in modern culture.

Kit lives in Maine with her Bernese Mountain Dog and can often be found where cell service is nonexistent. She is very serious about her love for chicken wings, non-alcoholic beer, and the Kardashians.
